CLONING DEBATE HEATS UP BETWEEN CHURCH AND STATE

The use of embryonic human cells for research to seek possible cures for debilitating and deadly diseases has created considerable controversy in Sydney, as well as elsewhere around the world, the implications of which are many, including such questions as when does life actually begin and whether souls exist, as well as even if reincarnation is also real. Australian Roman Catholic Cardinal George Pell had something to say about cloning in an article he wrote for the Sydney Morning Herald.
