SAMUEL L. JACKSON SEES DEAD PEOPLE
Washington, June 13 2007: American actor Samuel L. Jackson doesn't doubt people who tell him that they've seen ghosts, especially after growing up in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The 58-year-old whose upcoming horror film '1408' is set for release this month, insisted that he too has experienced ghosts and spirits when he was a child.
The Academy Award nominated actor revealed that he saw dead people in his neighbourhood.
"There were people who died in our neighbourhood that we saw long after they were dead," Contactmusic quoted Jackson, as saying.
The actor insisted that many people at his place saw a dead woman whenever they did anything wrong.
"If you were out at night and looking around the wrong place doing something wrong and you'd look up and there would be that lady who used to call your house and tell your mother you were doing something wrong and she was dead, she wasn't supposed to be there. And you weren't the only person that saw her," he said.
Jackson recalled that they could hear the crying of kids who died in a school bus accident.
"We had phenomenon that went on like that in my life. There was a school bus that turned over and if you went to the spot where it happened at a particular time of night you could hear the dead kids crying and the screeches of the tires. We'd go there and you'd hear it," he added.
