TECHNICAL COLLEGE TO PRESENT SERIES ABOUT NDE’S

Series to cover near-death experiences
Horry-Georgetown Technical College will present a series of public presentations about near-death experiences starting Feb. 8.

The series attempts to analyze public beliefs and attitudes about the experiences, starting with a lecture by Diane Corcoran with the International Association of Near Death Studies on Feb. 8.

The second lecture on March 1 features faculty from HGTC and Coastal Carolina University as well as a local neurologist, who will discuss the topic from scientific and philosophical viewpoints.

The last lecture, on March 22, involves a panel discussion of people who have had near-death experiences.

All lectures begin at 7 p.m. at the Burroughs and Chapin Auditorium on the Conway campus, with refreshments at 6:30 p.m.
