VOICES FROM BEYOND THE GRAVE

Ghostly goings on may have been caught on tape at an air tower linked to World War Two American bombers.
The Bury St Edmunds Paranormal Group believes it has captured voices of US servicemen who were based at Rougham Airfield 60 years ago.
Two Saturdays ago, the group set up tape recorders in the airfield's tower which collected mysterious voices and sounds. The investigators also left an old hand grenade out, which they claim was then moved by an invisible presence.
Wayne Morris, chairman of the two-year-old paranormal group, said: "I think we have caught definite evidence of some presence at the tower.
"I firmly believe if the conditions are right then people and objects from the past can return to this time."
About 3,000 US personnel were stationed at the airfield during the war and A-20 Havocs, B-26 Marauders and B-17 bombers flew from the base.
Mr Morris said: "Three of us heard what sounded like a bomber fly past us. The sound was incredible."
During the group's night-time vigil, its camera equipment failed to record any images of apparitions and phantoms.
Mr Morris said: "I never jump to any conclusions about what we record and always rule out every other possibility first.
"I let people believe what they want to believe but I think we have found conclusive proof of paranormal happenings at the tower."
Graham Crabtree, chairman of the Rougham Tower Association, said he would not comment on the group's findings but was happy the investigators had made a donation to the tower's upkeep.
