CAROL THATCHER has shown she’s an Iron Lady just like her mum by staying in a haunted house for a TV show.

The 53-year-old daughter of Baroness Thatcher joined the team for Livingtv’s Most Haunted who tried and failed to scare her while filming in one of Britain’s spookiest stately homes Tatton Old Park in Cheshire.

Presenter Yvette Fielding was suitably impressed by I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! winner Carol’s steely nerves in the programme shown last night.

Yvette said: “Carol’s mum is known as the Iron Lady, but after having her on location I think that title could be extended to her as well.

“I’ve never known a woman be so brave, going into dark rooms and corridors with no fear whatsoever. Nothing seems to faze her. In fact, I think the ghosts were more scared of her than she was of them!”
