RAISING FUNDS BY CHASING GHOSTS

Clitheroe Castle

THRILL-SEEKING ghost hunters are being invited to spend the night in spooky Clitheroe Castle to boost funds for the Anthony Nolan Trust.

The night of paranormal investigations will take place on Friday, March 9th.

A charity spokesman said: "Wrap up warm, bring a torch and camera and come to investigate this prominent landmark, which is steeped in history.

"Take part in activities throughout the night including an exclusive ghost tour, experience the use of ghost-hunting equipment and keeping a vigil for any paranormal activity."

Anyone wishing to brave the night, should telephone 01506 655361 or e-mail north@anthonynolan.org.uk for entry forms or more information.

Each participant is required to raise a minimum of £100 to secure their place on this memorable challenge. The evening begins at 9 p.m. and is expected to finish around 5 a.m. the following morning. Places are strictly limited.

The Anthony Nolan Trust provides life-saving donors for patients in need of a bone marrow transplant. Since 1974, the charity has helped over 4,000 children and adults.
