Well, keep it simple, yet very cute. I wouldn't suggest wearing pumps to school, especially on the first day because it will look like you're trying to hard. Plus, since you're in middle school, you'll be doing a lot of walking from class to class and your feet will hurt. You'll also have more of a chance to trip and fall. One very good tip that I saw in a magazine was to wear a comfortable outfit on the first day of school so you won't have to be worrying about if your shirt is sliding, if your pants are falling, etc. You'll be more confident.
I love Forever 21 too because they have a lot of cute stuff. I would suggest wearing a cute v-neck with some time of design, print, or picture. Or just wear a really cute top. You can wear skinny jeans with it. And if you're allowed to, it would be really cute if you wore sandals with straps in the back. Flats or sneakers would be cool too. Seventeen magazine has a lot of tips on back-to-school outfits.
For accessories, it would look really nice if you wore a long necklace with a chunky or small pendant. Choose rings that would look good with your outfit.
For your hair, since you have wavy hairr, you can straighten it or leave it as is. A good look is side bangs or regular flat bangs.
